上个周末. 星期六的早晨,设了闹钟. 出发去费城, 去看看塞尚. 看画展的人很多, 大都年纪比较大. 后来我们还去了一个叫MANAYUNK的小镇. 我跑马拉松的路上经过的一个小镇. 没干什么,就在那里, 沿着MAIN STREET走过去,再走过来. 街上坐的,吃的,喝的,走的,都是年轻的人. 我们"恍然大悟", 因为年长者都去了博物馆看画.再后来,我们去中国城吃晚饭.夜黑了的时候回家.回家的路上唱歌,唱到不想回家.就去了那家酒吧. 喝了不同风味的啤酒,吃了不同口味的甜点.我们为今天干杯,为明天干杯,为小孩子干杯,为乱七八糟的都干杯. 每个人都很HIGH.回到平原堡(新近给村子取的名字),再接着打麻将. 打麻将的中途, 我顺便完成了"向塞尚致敬"的作业: 打麻将的人.
塞尚的原作THE CARD PLAYERS. 四个十九世纪末的法国农民, 辛苦一天以后, 在打牌,表情疲倦. 我的作业: 打麻将的人. 四个21世纪的中国人,玩了一整天以后,在打麻将,表情也很疲倦.
P.S. 其他三位打麻将的人各有作业向塞尚致敬. 有人的主题landscape, 有人的主题是Maddame Xiao, 还有人超厉害,作业名字叫the bather. 很期待.

Thank you. Yes, i was listening to James Blunt while uploading the pictures to Flickr. So I thought it was not a bad idea to name the pictures with the lyrics of You are beautiful.
The pictures were taken during our trip to philly go to Cezanne's exibition. That's why:)
